Today a girl gave away 2 display cases that she had in her store. I went to pick them up and I noticed they have 1 open side.
She told me the back is open to display the items she sold regularly.
They are similar to the $60 IKEA ones.
Any ideas on what I can use to close the exposed side ?

@TwelveInchFigures, yes i might have to make a door for them. Neither the base or top part have any existing holes. Its like a glass bookshelf.
 
If possible I would face them sideways. so no matter what I use to cover up the hole I wouldn't be looking through that to see my figures. (unless you get glass)

They are Ikea brand. They are just missing the doors, bumpers at the bottom and even that plastic trim to hold the back and side glass pieces. I guess I can't complain since they were free
Thinking of using those U-Bolts to avoid accidents

Well I managed to put it together with some missing hardware.
Guess I'll just have to find a way to make some acrylic doors for it and reinforce the levels using the wire rope clips

@DioramaMaker, I might just leave them as is. IKEA in my area did not have any in stock.
