I'm moving in a few weeks and will be able to take a select portion of my collection with. The new living arrangements don't facilitate the space to store my boxes, but fortunately I have family who has spare space to hold onto them back home. Has anyone had any experience moving their collection boxless? I'm looking to move about 24 figures give or take.
I've decided to use tackle/hobby boxes for accessories, so that's taken care of. I more so want to pick a secure and safe way to transport the main figures. I thought about making pluck foam trays, but that stuff isn't easy to come by locally and is a little pricey for the volume I want to pack.
I realize I could just as easily do a few bubble wrap rolls on each and call it a day, but that doesn't protect odd or delicate shapes super well. I thought I'd take a survey and see if anyone had some more intuitive or functional methods they've used.
