Yea, it does look soft.

If this is fully sculpted, then the stress cracks on the glove makes it look like it's made of a puffy material. Like a padded snow glove.
 
Not a fan of this piece just off those pictures and that price is crazy.

How many other collectors have gotten this in hand?

I have 3 other licenced MCU Gauntlets, and this one is probably better than all of them. Especially the other Nano Gauntlets from Hot Toys.

Regarding the above complaints, that issue never once crossed my mind as I was handling it.
 
It looks cool but looks like it's made for a stretched out baby arm.

From Hot Toys I have the Life Size Infinity Gauntlet (good), Nano Gauntlet (which is easily the worst of the lot) and the Hulk Nano Gauntlet as well (sufficient).

I also have a few smaller and/or deformed versions here and there as well.
