I think the head on the TLJ figure was better.

Yeah. A bit too idealized. I wish we had a Driver "precut" sculpt with TFA's version.

I like the look on this and it?s distinct enough from the TFA version that I am tempted.

I just checked and I guess its the exact same sculpt as TLJ... just the hair is brushed back on the sides is all. Just like Rey, a total reuse.

Hoody cape is probably better than regular cape though.

Yeah, I just saw that -- does the red on his helmet pulse when he breathes...??? That's kooky.

If they de-aged at sculpt by about 5-10 years it would look perfect. As it is right now it reminds me of the Franco Green Goblin or Jeff Goldblum. Hope CREG does a custom.

This is the character I'm most wary of HT releasing multiple editions of so I'll hold off until I've seen the movie.

Hmm, didn't think I'd be interested in this one, but I do really like the more mature and almost regal look this seems to have with the new hairstyle.

I quite liked the look of TLJ version folks got but I never pulled the trigger since I had the TFA figure, though I’ve been tempted again lately.

Seeing this along with the new features and I’m happy to wait and snap this one up. Now if they could just fix Rey....lol

I'll look to see the movie before I decide which "hair" is more TROS Kylo. It seems like either sculpt could work to represent him honestly.
That said, something makes me think this will be similar to the ROTJ DX Luke sculpt where we all think it's "eh" and worse than the previous until someone posts a side by side comparison on video.

All said, I think that if you don't have TLJ Kylo and were debating between the two, this fig offers a lot more options.

The light-up cracked helmet seems like enough of a reason for people to double-dip on this one.

In hand will be the only way to tell, but here's a quick comparison...







I think I like the shaggy TLJ head better than the more groomed one.

Yup I'm a sucker for lightup features and this one just seems really cool and different. Even though I can't imagine why it would actually pulse like that in the movie. Lol

It says "breathing"... so maybe in conjunction with his Vader-like breathing? Subtlety is not Kylo's strong point.

He's gonna glow like the Smog Monster.

I'm guessing (hoping) there will be just an "on" option in addition to the pulsing. Also, for anyone that has light up heads etc... how is the battery life on those? I always worry about batteries leaking or something and ruining part of the figure

Not big on the sculpt but this is cool. I?m wanting a SW villains collection so this just might do.

Looking at that comparison it definitely looks like they've aged him up for some reason.

If he?s not a whiny kid in ep9 then I may get this
