I don't know if there is a thread for this already, so if there is, mods please merge.

I think this looks hilarious. Not my pics, they are from Toyark:

Pre-orders have been opened for the Mezco Designer Series (MDS) Deluxe Batman 1989 Figure from Mezco Toyz. The stylized 6″ tall figure is based on Michael Keaton’s iconic portrayal of Batman in Tim Burton’s 1989 film. The figure has 12 points of articulation, a fabric cape, multiple interchangeable hands, a grapple gun, and a batarang. The figure is priced at $38, with a release set between December 2019 and February 2020. Pre-order at the link below, and see some photos after the jump.

Mezco Designer Series (MDS) Deluxe Batman 1989 Figure

Straight from Tim Burton’s 1989 ground breaking film, Batman joins the Mezco Designer Series!

The MDS Deluxe Batman (1989) features an all-new movable eye function. Now there is no where for the Joker and his henchmen to hide!

Equipped complete with his trusty Batarang and grappling gun, as well as 6 interchangeable hands, the MDS Batman includes a posable leather-like cape so he can recreate many dynamic poses from the film.

Batman stands approximately 6” tall and features 12 points of articulation.

MDS Deluxe Batman (1989) comes packaged in a window box, perfect for display.

Looks like they changed a few things since they showed this at Toy Fair last year. :lol

What would possess someone to buy something that looks like that?

Sure, it looks goofy -- but that's actually a terrific likeness! I hope they make a Joker, too.

It's sad that this hasn't had more attention here, as he's awesome.

A shout out to Kapow Toys, who never fail to impress me.

There?s something very cool about these niche style of figures. The Adam West version coming out soon looks pretty good too.

I posted pics of this figure on another Mezco thread a while back. Had no idea there was a MDS thread already. Definitely an awesome figure. I would love to see a Chris Reeves superman version.

Lol. That's how I felt at first. I told myself that these figures were fugly. Then they grew on me. So now I own this Keaton batman and the MDS Pennywise.

I’ve sadly had to sell a lot of my Batman lately, but this little guy will be hanging around a long time. He has so much character and fits in so many tiny spots!
