They look alright, considering that there's nothing else available now for Tron (aside from the Kingdom Hearts stuff), it's something.
I'm curious about how large the Recognizer will be, and if there will be another wave to finish it.

Wave 2 could be: Flynn (Blue), RAM , and Red Staff Guard Light cycle build pieces

I was thinking more along the Ghostbusters line with multiple waves to finish the build item. I've heard that this wave will complete the Recognizer, that has got to be on the small side.
I hope for wave 2 we get RAM, Yori, Red Staff Guard and the build will be Master Control (with popcorn necklaces as accessories). I'd like the Light Cycles offered on their own with figures like Blue Flynn.

Saw the Walgreens exclusive Blue Flynn in store the other day. The likeness looked slightly more generic than the prototype portrait above.

Yeah I've been seeing the Walgreens excl. figures in stores myself. There are deluxe versions still coming from DST with extra accessories these don't come with as well as the Recognizer Build pieces. The Walgreens blue Flynn is exclusive, the deluxe one will still be red.
I was curious about these, wanted to know the price but didn't have the time to ask, I was hunting Marvel Legends Exclusives.
Finally found a store with prices listed, $16.99!
I bought Flynn, The likeness is okay, it could be so much better but I do see Bridges there. Paint is perfect, no wayward paint on mine. Articulation is pretty good overall, elbows and knees bend pass 90 degrees, head is limited looking up, great ankle articulation. The worse issue is the left arm is extremely limited by the soft shirt overlay, there was a cut joint in the sleeve on the prototype, this needs that joint badly to get better arm posses. He only comes with a data disc and stand, that's it.

Still a pretty good figure. I also wanted to get Sark, but the two I checked out had terribly painted left eyes, examine the eyes on Sark if you plan on getting him.
I still think it's a great figure for $16.99. I'm going to hold out on the others until I see the extras the deluxe come with. Though it might be worth getting a Walgreens Sark if I find good paint in person.

I never thought we'd get these OR The Black Hole figures. And the likenesses are nice, if not dead on. So this is all a win-win to me. I got the Blue Flynn from Walgreens and really enjoy him overall. I'm excited to get the deluxe releases. I just think it's so funny these guys never show up on display at Diamond's booth and we have no idea what the effects pieces look like.

Absolutely love these figures from DS. I can?t believe we had to wait 37 years for accurate fully poseable figures.

I went to Walmart and picked up Sark and Tron to go with my Flynn. Thanks to my partner I get a discount there. So they ended up being about $15. Can't really see paying $5 more for the few extra accessories. I will get the red Flynn of course. Thankfully he comes with one of the cooler accessories. All that being said, I LOVE that these were made.

Have yet to run into these figures in store (other than the pared-down Walgreens versions, of course). Hope that these sell well so the line can continue, maybe even adding some figures from Tron: Legacy.

There are not enough Jeff Bridges figures out there.

I wonder if the dropping of the build-a-vehicle parts was due to poor pre-sales. I think including parts to build a light cycle would have been more enticing to casual fans than an out of scale Recognizer. That's why I originally thought the Walgreens exclusives were a better deal. Didn't want to pay $25 more for a vehicle that I didn't really have the space or desire to display.

I got those Walgreens exclusives for Christmas, but I decided after watching Pixel Dan's review of the deluxe versions that I like them more. Better paint deco: added detail in the eyes, light grey on Tron's suit instead of powder blue, neon red highlights on Sark. Even though I prefer blue suit Flynn, the red version is a nice contrast to the Tron figure considering they both recycle most of the same parts. The effects discs are also a neat enough addition to justify the $3 price increase. I'll be pre-ordering that entire wave now.

I stopped into Walgreens this morning just to see if I could do a non-receipt return on the store exclusive versions. I believe their policy states they can give you the lowest selling price of the item in the last 30 days as merchandise credit. I probably could have sold them on eBay for profit, but I'm always buying stuff at Walgreens and thought this might be the easier option. Never hurts to ask. The manager was cool about it and agreed to give me credit since I had the (now expired) gift receipts proving they originally came from that store. The associate he called up front to issue the card was less nice. She said scornfully "I can't believe he agreed to this, with how old these receipts are." I told her I only came in to ask and wasn't demanding anything, but she never said another word to me. That woman oozed contempt and wouldn't even look at me directly

I bought the deluxe versions, but getting a quality set has been an ordeal. The ones I ordered from Amazon back in February had major paint flaws on all three figures. Flynn had a dark purple paint glob on the side of the face, Tron had a big streak of dark blue paint smeared down the front of one leg and Sark was missing some of the red highlights on the helmet. To top it off, the warehouse worker placed a large bag of food on top of the Sark figure and crushed the packaging.

I requested replacements, but the second Sark figure looked even worse. The plastic was split on the helmet emblem and the right eye was twice the size of the left one. Not only did Amazon customer service refuse to issue another replacement, they apparently flagged my account for suspicious activity. Later that day, I received a warning e-mail claiming the figures I returned were "not received in original condition". They threatened they would start charging restocking fees or only issuing partial refunds on my future returns "as a result" of my recent actions. Having done nothing wrong, I was totally blindsided to get this message and resented the accusation.

I wrote back telling them so, but simply got the same warning resent to me by an OFM "Account Specialist" - which I presume is Amazon's fraud investigation department. So now I have constant paranoia about being permanently blacklisted by the world's most powerful retailer (in the middle of a pandemic, no less) because of Diamond Select's awful quality control. Thanks, guys! BTW, the flaws on these figures were clearly visible in the packaging and the items were returned to Amazon without being opened. How does that not qualify as being in "original condition"? Any damage to the packaging came that way from their warehouse. I'm still flabbergasted by all this, not to mention angry.

I tried to get another Sark at a local shop just before everything shut down due to COVID-19, but went through three more of them before realizing they all had the same defect: the barbell going through the crotch that connects the legs to the torso is ridiculously loose. The slightest movement causes the torso to wobble around like one of those plastic hula girls you stick on your car dashboard. It's almost comical. I don't know what the heck happened with this production run, because the Walgreens Sark appeared to have very tight joints.

Between this issue and the new Black Hole figures being sold out everywhere upon release (and being scalped on eBay for $100+ a couple weeks later, which I've never seen happen so quickly with any of their products), I am completely fed up with Diamond Select. They need to stop soliciting these Disney figures as "waves" only at most retailers. I've not been able to backorder the deluxe V.I.N.CENT and Maximillian because I can't find any site that's currently offering them as singles. I've already got the DST Rocketeer figure, I shouldn't have to buy the damn thing again just to get the Black Hole characters.
