VAMPIRELLA Turns 50

This year marks the 50th anniversary for Vampirella and, TOMORROW, Dynamite launches our pre-order campaign for a 1/6 scale Vampirella statue based on the classic art of Jose Gonzalez.

Stands 12.5" high on a Vampirella "bat logo" base. A black and white variant will also be available (images coming soon). This is going to be a big one, retailing at around $250 to start, but pre-order customers will get theirs at a discount.

Photos of the first casting sample soon to follow.

I like this pose but....whose making it? Still have a very bad taste in my mouth from the Campbell one.....

This statue is being produced by Dynamite with the help of Rvckvs International and Gentle Giant. The very first Vampirella statue by J. Scott Campbell was an unfortunate quality control issue with an old factory we stopped using after that first time.

Every Women of Dynamite piece I have has ranged from very good to exceptional in terms of quality and execution... I have absolutely no hesitation about preordering anything from Dynamite (and I just preordered the 50th anniversary Vampirella )

Are these in any relations to the ones Diamond made with really bad paint work? I’m tempted.

That looks great, portrait especially. If the production pieces look that good I'd be happy to give you my money. Unfortunately I passed on Purgatori.
