Did not find a thread on this - seemed like a quiet release..I really like it...and I liked the New 52 one as well...I know many like the traditional make up. I want to get a Prime 1 Darkseid but now can not decide which one!

No, the lights Do Not Light Up. I thought the same thing, i thought the video Prime 1 posted below and the marketing was misleading. They acknowledged it too when i contacted them about it but they didnt really do anything about it.
