My guess - Nightcrawler.

I'd like to see Iceman, Beast or Havok. Could be Professor X to complement Magneto, but not sure how well a bald man in a wheelchair and/or floating chair would sell.

Yes, they even know it is an issue/topic of conversation. I wonder if some of the recent "repeat" characters aren't selling as well because well, they are repeats

Sideshow hinted at Flash Thompson Venom, Noir Spider-Man years years years ago...
They hinted at Cable and Juggernaut then scrapped it and had to hint at it a second time.

Just going to wait and see what they bring up ....
