I agree with the Dremel you can shave it or sand it down. That's how most people go about adding real hair to their sculpts. Watch some tutorials by Jacob Rahmie on YouTube.

I have a headsculpt with hair I need to repair which can only be done correctly with removed. I Was going to try freezing the part for a few hours or over night then carefully dunking hair first into boiling hot water. Thinking that the expansion or shock may break the glue joint loose. Think this might work?
