Custom 1/6 Bill (aka the lost member of the fellowship)

Since I completed my Fellowship I realized I wanted to display them in line like the typical silhouette you'll find with the "not all those who wander are lost" motto. But I was still missing a member...Bill the pony!
Giving that Asmus will probably never produce such a figure, I tried to build it using the cheapest options available.
I started with a Breyer Traditional horse (10€ on ebay), similar in color;

Size is a problem: weta products depict him as a pony, but in the movie it's just a normal horse, just somehow hobbit-sized. This Breyer horse was a good compromise: shaped like a horse but sized like a pony.

Dremeled out hair and tail and substituted with syntetic doll hair (Barbie pony here)


A bit of hair styling with hair gel and glue:


Fully repainted, shaped a saddle, some wood supports, various bags:


And finally the finished pony.
Considering the small sources available (screenshots, weta statues) that's my final checklist:
Neck: potato bag.
Right side: Frodo backpack, brown bag.
Center: barrell.
Back: bedroll, Pippin bag.
Left side: Sam backpack, rolled up walking sticks, brown bag, Merry backpack.
