I really doubt that head can fit inside the helmet because of the sculpted hair. So the helmet is probably just a separate head.

Hey guys, the head sculpt does indeed fit into the helmet. There is also padding inside the helmet to prevent any scratches to the head. Here is some in hand pics.

OSO recommends the True Type TTM-21.
