Apologies if I missed an ongoing thread on this topic! I didn't see any looking a couple pages in.
I'm moving August 1st through the 5th. I have a week or so to move everything I am keeping out myself for the most part rather than have to hire someone and do it all in a day. The comics and toys will be no problem. Comic boxes and normal moving boxes with some sort of packing material to separate different things, not lose small pieces or reduce chance of breakage. I think I have all the boxes with factory styrofoam for the larger statues.
So...for those of you who have moved a collection of figures and statues before, any tips? My largest concern is how to move 9 detolf display cases without having to disassemble each one. I think it can be done...maybe wrap them and gently move them vertically as much as possible?
