Action Figure Sentinel 1/12 Riobot VR-052F Mospeada Stick Action Figure Robotech Cyclone

So I was searching for a thread for just this product or the Toynami Masterpiece Cyclone and couldn’t find one so I’m creating this thread.

I looked for the Toynami versions but they all seem to be jacked up aftermarket prices. In my quest to find a decently priced one I came across this version by Sentinel. They were up for preorder at HLJ (Hobby Link Japan) so I preordered it. I then realized they had a Rei version as well (Rand in the US Robotech) but everyone was sold out.

I finally came across a company called D4 Toys and they had it up for preorder so I ordered from them as well. Both priced at about the retail that the Toynami was originally priced at or slightly below with minimal shipping cost. It looks like they are using the same pics that Toynami used so hopefully it will be just as good. No details on packaging as of yet.

Wow. That is one of my all time favorite mechas I just never thought of looking for a figure. Amazing.

Here is the Rei or “Rand” as he was called in the US.

For some reason HLJ has them listed as 1/12 Scale and 16cm tall in robot mode but these are the same pics as the Toynami version that is supposed to be 1/10 Scale and 21cm tall in robot mode.


As you can see there are several different sizes and plenty of reviews of any of these products on YouTube so if your interested in any of these check out the videos first.

I steered away from the 1/12 and 1/15 versions cause they seemed to be problematic.

Folks saying Megahouse is more durable than CMs.

If you want more variations it's either Megahouse or CMs. don't hope for Purple or Yellow Cyclones.

This thing has been delayed for months....is it finally out yet?

I wanted one but daaaaamn that's soooo far out of my price range, even at retail. Good luck now that it's "sold out" and gonna be even more.

I agree. I ordered both Scott and Rand and will need a Rook and Lancer soon after.

They look great. The detail is excellent. If I didn't already have Beagle/Toynami ones (cause I really like the larger scale), I'd pick these up for sure!

Me too. I was trying to find a model kit in 1/6 that I could adapt onto a HT body. No luck.

Looks like I got charged from HLJ for the Stick version I ordered. Just got tracking as well. Can’t wait to see how this turned out.

Me too. I noticed a few differences between this one and the Masterpiece version. Looks like they have a bicep armor that isn’t exactly accurate and the lower arm does not have fabric covering the elbow joint. I think I will like this one better if the pics are what we get. Not to mention the details on the bikes and the colors are different.


Plus it looks like the headsculpt on this is better but I guess that’s a matter of opinion and depends on what we get in hand.

Two reviews are up on amazon japan. Both give three stars. Running them through google translate indicates that they were both frustrated with the paint and that it didn't hold poses and was not easy to work with. They were disappointed that all the delays didn't result in a better toy.

Guess everyone who ordered will see for themselves soon...I hope it turns out nicely!

Oh boy. For the price and the wait it should have been top notch. Guess we will see soon enough.
