To commemorate the important 10th anniversary milestone, Hot Toys is going to continue elevating collectibles to the next level and is excited to officially present today, a Deluxe Version 1/4th scale collectible figure of the iconic Iron Man Mark III from the first Iron Man film.

This 1/4th scale collectible figure stands approximately 48.5cm (19 inches) tall, featuring a newly painted Tony Stark helmeted head sculpt, interchangeable helmeted head with LED light-up eyes, LED lights shine through various areas of armor, masterfully applied metallic red and gold colors on armor, articulated armor parts to reveal interior mechanical design or hidden weapons, and interchangeable battle damaged chest and shoulder armor!

The Deluxe Version will exclusively include a surprisingly elaborated LED light-up figure base with design inspired by the Arc Recator and the Iron Monger armor.

Was pleased to see signs of life in the 1/4 line until I realized it was another Iron Man. The third in this particular scale. With both a standard and deluxe edition.

Stop ordering these or I'll find you people and slap you with a trout.

To be fair, there have been two Batman 1/4 scales since the last Iron Man... :monkey3

Looks like this will make up for some of the disappointment some people felt when getting the diecast Mark III 1/6 version. Should have all the bells and whistles. I'm guessing availability will be this fall or early spring for this guy. For a second there, I was wondering why they were advertising the Mark IV all over again :lol

The third? Isn't this the 4th? Unless you didn't count Mark 42 being a repaint of the 43 that came out first in QS format.

When I saw the arm I thought Oh damn are they making a 1/4 Iron Monger?! :horror

..oh its just a base :duh

Likewise! I went "oh *****!" and then saw it was just a diorama piece :lol

Anyway, I think HT should have gone the extra mile and made a new Tony sculpt instead of re-using (again) the one from QS Mark 43. This needs a younger RDJ sculpt.

There it is! That's the 1/4 scale IM I've been wanting. Awesome!

Looks great! No interest in that base though. Looks kinda ugly to me.

Please get the color right. Please get the color right. Please get the color right. Please get the color right.

Hope this isn't the only 10th anniversary IM figure this year. Was really hoping for a 1/6 DC Mk1...

Darn got excited when first seeing the pics on FB but then saw it was 1/4 scale. I was hoping HT was giving us an improved MK III

Is it me or this looks really chunky? lol. Maybe it's just awkward camera angles and posing.
