There were a couple pics of a large batch Orgrim statues in production and nearing completion on their Facebook page a week or two ago, but I hear what you're saying. I don't really believe the release dates listed on the Sideshow website for most of the ones they have preorders up for, as there are just too many to possibly come out in such a short period, and Orgrim was the first one to go up for preorder like a year ago (or more) I think. They did say on Facebook that Gul'dan is also almost finished with production as well however (like a month behind Orgrim or something like that), so we shall see. The proto pics for all of them look amazing though!

god damn over a grand

After looking a bit more closely at the pics, I guess the only thing I don't like about this statue is that they apparently applied some paint to his beard in places in an attempt to give it a reddish/bronze hue, but it sort of looks like he was eating a bowl of pasta and got some of the sauce on his beard (the paint is too thick in spots). It's not terrible by any means, but it is too bad they couldn't have actually used real red hair, or dyed hair to keep it more natural looking on close inspection. One thing I'm interested in seeing is what the base looks like with the light effect they have put in. I wonder if it will flicker, or remain static.

In any event, this is now the second statue of this line by Damtoys that I have preordered. I've fallen in the trap!

What ever happened with Phicen's stuff, too? They teased statues, including two versions of Garona and even Durotan's wife, I think. Haven't heard a peep since.
