I haven’t watched IM2 since it came out, but this makes me want to finally revisit it! The armor designs are all great and this is tempting.

Happy freaking New Year! Not sure if I'd need the gantry but I know I'd regret it if I didn't pick it up. For the sake of my wallet though I hope this has a 2019 release date.

They literally used the same mold but they just sprinkled in some Diecast into the parts.

The headsculpt and accessories is also just reused from the original.

The gantry is also just a re-release but with better weathering.

Beyond the diecast material, how do the proportions of this and the VI compare to the originals?

I can't believe they're packaging the regular release with a ****** crotch grabber stand. Those things only reach the taint on these die cast Iron Men. They need to move towards using the waist clip stands on all figures instead.

So does this mean all the non die cast IM figures are going to be re-released? Glad I just got a couple.

Maybe not all of the releases, but they've definitely made a concerted effort to release those that are most popular. Think we need 1 and 7 and we'll have seen all the majority of the screen time armors done in DC.

Nah, just the classic VII from Iron Man to Avengers.. 42 onward are all die-cast anyway, and I just can't see them redoing HPP..

This is the diecast release I've been looking forward to the most. I'm really glad there is a gantry option.

Give it enough time and Hot Toys will re-release every armour.

So glad to see that we get an opportunity to own the Gantry display again. That was one accessory that I was always disappointed to have missed out on and now its back and looking better than ever.

Wish they'd announce the walkway gantry like King Arts did for their 1/9th scale. I think Hot Toys would knock that out of the park.

Nice. Ready for this, knew it would be easy with the simple chest plate change from the VI. Hopefully this will be out in Q2-Q3 next year.
