Screen used Alien 3 Destroyed EEV Bishop Android Prop from the '92 film Alien3. Sculpt by Dave Anderson from Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc. I believe originally sold by the Prop Store London in 2010. Left hand was missing when initially auctioned off. Extremely detailed. Cool to the touch like an actual corpse. Appears briefly as Superintendent Andrews inputs into the computer the occupants of the EEV. Though the extended version of the movie cuts this shot of Bishop as well as Newt from the film.

IMG_6996.JPGBishop 3D scanned. Came out pretty good. Though the poly count is pretty high which makes for an extremely detailed figure but a very large file. Getting him 3D printed at just six inches costs well over $1000.00. Can lower the poly count on the mesh without removing detail, supposably, but don't presently have the software to do so.

Zyote from RPF printed up 1/6 scale resin version on his Form 2 printer. Looks good but shows the limitations of the 3D scan. Very soft in detail, at least in the photos provided. Yet to receive it. IMG_7415.JPGIMG_7414.JPGIMG_7413.JPG

It looks terrific. Thanks for posting the progress pics above, they are really interesting to see. Look forward to seeing the paint-up.

Shipment from Zyote. Was sent one figure that failed in the printer. Something about the interior supports not working.
The 1/10 scale figure has as great details as the 1/6.

Man that's incredible. So how did you do the scan in the first place, was this something you were able to do yourself, or did you have to have someone come in and do it?

Drove two and a half hours through torrential down pour to Portland and got the prop professionally 3D scanned. Couldn't get him back in the box he originally came in, the guy I bought him from bent Bishops spine to get him in, I wasn't willing to do that again. So just covered him with plastic, like in the film. friends who met us for lunch thought we were serial killers with half a dead body in the back of the car. IMG_7526.JPGIMG_7527.JPG
