1/6 K-2SO Star Wars Rogue One review

Up next in this all sixth scale week is another Hot Toys release - K-2SO! I really enjoyed Rogue One, and this guy stole practically every scene he was in. I've been looking forward to adding him to the shelf, but does he live up to expectations? My review is here:

Well, if I've ever seen a 4 star figure I would have to say this is it. I can't really agree with the half star demotion based on things I myself can't really see (other than the light switch placement). I can't imagine how something like Tarkin will score on price point when he's more than this 14 inch die-cast robot.

I wish you could have a 3.75 score... so many figures fall between this wide gap of 3 and 4.

When I first saw the score I wonder why because I love this figure but reading your review you brought up great points. On the surface its such an amazing figure, but when you point out the areas that have problems, I remember feeling the same way. The ratcheting joints are great but really limit the posing. The head could have easily been a magnet closer like the face plates which would have made it so much better.

Loving this droid. Ratcheted joints do overshoot some articulation points for certain poses but you can compensate with the toe articulation. Feet won't be totally flat but you can find that sweet stabalization point even without a stand.
