I'm on a statue kick, but this will be the last one for awhile - I swear. It's another Kotobukiya, but this time it's in the smaller ArtFX+ line, and it's from Star Wars. I'm checking out the two pack of Finn and Rey from SWTFA at the link below.

BTW, it's just a little more than a week to SDCC, and I'll be doing my photo coverage once again! If you have any special requests, please let me know, and if you want regular updates as I add coverage be sure to follow me on Facebook or Twitter.

Another great review (the recent WW one seems to be making the rounds and encouraging people to scoop her up.) From the photos, the likenesses on Rey and Finn appear the same level, but I agree he appears duller due to the pose/expression contrast and lack of opportunity to show off Koto's consistently stellar paint apps the way Rey's weathered outfit does. Do the skin tones on Rey's portraits match the body though? Her head looks photoshopped on, as is if it's more translucent than the shoulders and neck.

If I can request some SDCC photo coverage, it would be the Koto booth for the new Bishoujo reveals. I would say Sideshow/Prime 1 as well because your photography of those pieces behind glass highlights them especially well, like jewelry displays. Your 2014 coverage is what sold me on Catwoman as my first Premium Format figure.

The head does have a more translucent look, similar to better sixth scale portraits, while the body parts seem a bit more traditional.

I'll be sure to hit up both areas next week!
