Was there some complaint about inaccuracy about the armor compare to some classic TV drama?
Some description or reason behind the change would be nice.

I still don't see the 'v2.0'-ish aspect of it.
Horse is definitely better looking than v1.0. Did anything changed in horse from previous v2.0, too?

It's based off the 1994 series so fans complained about the inaccuracy in the midsection part of the armor. 303 Toys went back and fixed it. It's in the comment section on their facebook

Thanks for the updated info.
I was wondering about that myself. However, when I googled it - it gave me a images with still slightly different helmet and armor.
Are they trying to avoid lawsuit by making them slightly different? Or they can't replicate exact shape for better pose-ability?
And where did they get the idea for the V1.0 armor design then?

Honestly, I didn't watch these dramas (only read books and some movies have 3 kingdom themes) SO, I don't really care about armor design details.
I just want my favorite figures from the story best matches my imagination when I read the novel.

For that reason, I got

*303toys Zhao Yun 1.0
*Pre-ordered InFlames Zhang Yide & The Wuzhui Horse

And thinking about getting
*o-soul white horse for Zhao Yun

Haven't found one I like yet. Search and wait continues...

The O-Soul Lu Bu looks awsome. I said looks cause the body is crap with loose joints, the straps on the armor is crap. The hands are completely different color than the head.

Yeah. I was very close to ordering it.
It seems like
*303toys - design mostly based on 1994 TV drama
*o-soul - design based on some fantasy RPG or Anime style

The problem is I haven't watched the TV drama, so them trying to match accuracy doesn't have merit to me.
o-soul style is not really my taste either. I do like their horses dynamic poses.
303toys and InFlames three kingdom figures are just about right style-wise.
but InFlames put out three kingdom figure every 3-4 years! and 303toys making renewal version of existing figure!

Yeah, I like 303 Toys' versions a lot so I mostly stick with them. Except for Lu Bu, who I feel is a very flashy guy so I went with O-Soul on that one. I did have the 303 Lu Bu too but sold him. I like 303's Zhuge Liang too, a lot more than O-Soul's version.
