Hi there.

Would anybody buy this set with me?:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/302265045714?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

I'd keep the m200 (the black and biggest one, last rifle of the row) and the Steyr tmp (small black smg, first of the row).

I'd pay $60 for both units. The remaining $140 would have to be split among the other 4 rifle and the box (I don't want it).

We could ask the seller to split items and ship separately. That won't be a problem.

EDIT1: I wouldn't mind leaving the m200 to anybody else willing to partake in this collective purchase. I'd give $40 for the Steyr TMP.
EDIT3: I'll try to talk the seller down a bit, but I am not optimistic...

Anybody?
Just let me know!

Regards,
m.

EDIT2: I had forgotten the link!!!! Sillyl me!!!

That price ($202 in US currency) is ridiculous especially for the quality, the set new was somewhere around $70 US a few years ago. I own a few items from those sets (not either of the two weapons you want) and they can be poor quality (the TMP is actually resin) and the accessories won't stay in place without a bit of glue.

The TMP is also known as the MP9 which has a barrel modification. The TMP in the ZC World weapon set is actually an MP9. If you really want an MP9 I'd advise you to avoid the ZC version and instead buy the MP9 made either by Hot Toys or Sideshow. The HT version came with the Resident Evil Jack Krauser figure, this version has rails and a laser sight module, the other version I know of is the small SPP variant of the MP9 that come with the Marvel Falcon figure.
The Sideshow MP9 which I own several and is quite good albeit slightly out of scale. A lot of people believe the ZC World "TMP" is actually a direct recast of Sideshow's MP9 weapon. The Sideshow MP9 came with the GI Joe Firefly, Major Bludd, and Snake Eyes & Timber figures.

Toy Anxiety currently has 3 of the Snake Eyes MP9 for $20:
https://toyanxiety.com/g-i-joe-snake-eyes-timber-mp-sub-marchine-gun/

They also have the SPP MP9 variant from Hot Toy's Falcon for $7, this was available with a hole in the handle either on the right side or the left side of the handle intended to plug into a wrist mount device:
https://toyanxiety.com/hot-toys/loose/tv-movies/captain-america-civil-war/falcon/

The SPP MP9 is a semi automatic pistol variant of the TMP with a lengthened barrel and removed fore grip. It was used as a modified full automatic machine pistol for Falcon in the Captain America movies.

There was also a variant of the MP9 made by Ultimate Soldier in a weapon set that's quite nice but very hard to find right now.

Here's a review of that ZC World weapons collection if you're still interested:

If you still want the M200 Sniper Rifle,
You can buy the Tan version of the ZC World M200 here:
https://www.blackopstoys.com/products/firearms-collection-set-b-m200-sniper-rifle

You can also buy a different version of it from the company Very Hot for $18 here:

I hope that saves you some money!

Hi.
Thanks for the insight and for the links.

I know that asking price is abusive. Most sellers do abusive pricing when it comes to rare stuff... But that's how reality works right now with this set: some of these guns are not easy to find on eBay... :-( $$$$$
On top of that, the Japanese seller does not answer my call... :-(((((

I already own Timber Snake Eyes, albeit I keep it in its unopened box until I get more space to expose my stuff. I've seen his TMP before and I don't like its finish.
The ZC suppressor is much nicer, and I like the overall finish better.(no silly gray areas and silver barrels, some realistic weathering instead). BTW, the ZCWO version does have rails, right?

What's the problem with the set's quality? Is resin a problem? I though resin was a sign of good quality!
Why would they use resin, in the first place?

The moving-accessories problem is one no brand is completely free of... :-/

Could you please give me a link to the Ultimate Soldier set? I can't find it...

The m200 is not the same as the Cheytec, is it? I already own a gray ZY Toys Cheytec, I want now the M200, and it has to be in black.

I don't like Falcon's mini-thingies. I however do like the huge suppressor and the foregrip of the ZCWO version... :)

As to the Krauser avenue, I have checked this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmvrHhhjxfg

...but it is clear now in my mind that the Krauser version does not convey by far the same hitech feeling that the ZCWO version does convey to me. It is too chunky, clumsy, less pure, almost toyish. I could still try to find it and buy it if I could reuse its laser sight on the ZCWO. What do you think? Would that be feasible? Is it glued on place?

Thanks for going so far out of your way to enlighten me. If only everybody around here were like you......!! :)

Regards,
m.

Could you please give me a link to the Ultimate Soldier set? I can't find it...

It's resin because it's a recast of the Sideshow MP9 model, the exact same weapon that comes with Snake Eyes. It's not good quality, there's a rough texture and less detail that comes from inferior molds. ZC World does make guns that are plastic on occasion, I own a lot of their hand guns and the Crossbow which are plastic, but the DAT SRS in that set I own and it's cheap poor quality resin. If you really have a problem with the color of the Sideshow version, you can just repaint the weapon yourself.

The Ultimate Soldier TMP can be found in the Foreign Weapons set 2:

The CheyTac M200 is a later version of the EDM Arms Windrunner M96. The one from ZY World is an M96. The CheyTac from Very Hot in that link is an M200.

Krauser weapon is a customized MP9 that has a rail on either side for the Laser sight, it's glued to the model.

Here is the response I got to my $170 offer:

"Hello.Thank you for your mail.

This item is currently out of stock.
Because it is a rare item, it is currently considerably expensive and difficult to obtain.

I'm really sorry I can't be of any help."

The *** anese gentleman has then raised the price, just like that.
Incidentally: they have been sitting on this stuff for ages now, and the hell will frozen long before they get rid of it.

Conclusion: they don't want to sell. This is just a cover for a drug dealing scheme.

Anyway... bad luck. Let's forget about this...

Regards to all,
m.

Only $562 now.

I was doing a 1:6 part search on ebay for a Star Wars blaster and came across auctions for ZCWO 1/6 guns. ZC World is also known as ZCWO so, I decided to search ZCWO for the TMP (actually an MP9) and the M200 (actually an M96) that you were interested in and found them fairly priced. I can't vouch for the sellers so buy at your own risk:

That MP9 in black but without a scope is available for $17 here:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/400616610598?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

You can buy it with the scope in tan for $15 here:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/352005208499?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

And the M200 (M96) in black is availble for $15 here:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/391728293890?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

There's actually quite a few of those ZC World M200s in black or tan on ebay if you search for ZCWO M200.
Just remember that these are most likely low quality resin (the M200 might actually be part plastic) and the TMP is a recast of Sideshow's version.
