Just wanted to ask you guys if daylight (not under direct sunlight) is bad for statues or figures? Or does anyone of you who have similar setups have had noticeable faded paint apps over time?:confused:

Pics are from Aaron Dirks from fb:

UV light is harmful to everything you own. Your statues, books, carpet, curtains, your car, your skin.

If you can't avoid the light, put a UV blocking film on your windows.

You will see paint discoloration on your statues because of sunlight, some might yellow in time too. Better keep them out of direct sunlight

Banana boat works well.

Banana Boat is the greatest. I have spent thousands of hours surfing and without Banana Boat I would be a prune by now.

Yes it is. If keep my surfboards for too long they turn yellow. Move those statue right away until you come with some plan of
what to do with the room

I've seen toy boxes fade by being displayed on the store shelves too long and exposed to the harsh lighting, imagine how much damage UV exposure would do.

I prefer the distressed ye olde look.
I buy UV lamps and point them directly at the statues.

Nah. Sunlight helps them produce Vitamin D ... which aids in testosterone production.

Sunlight makes them manlier.
