I have a shelf system from www.everblocksystems.com and want to display my 1/6 scale figures. I have a dog and even though I clean constantly I deal with a lot of dust and stuff. I was thinking of putting each 1/6 figure in a case from https://www.casesforcollectibles.com. A acrylic case 11x11x14 will run about $100. This would protect it from dust and everything. Therefore if I am spending $200-$250 for a figure and $100 for a case I am sitting at about $350 total for each display. Is this worth it? For another $100-$150 I can get a PF figure, but no display case. Any advice would be really appreciated.

You'll probably save more getting a shelf w/ doors. I use BESTA and while it's not 100% dust-proof, it is really close. I have the same issue with dust in my area as well but the BESTAs keep them pretty clear, rarely have to clean them with an air canister. You can also fit a lot more figures in them, depending how you display/arrange them, one unit can house up to 10x Hot Toys 1/6 figures.
