First hot toy-need some help

I receive my first hot toy today it's the elder predator from AvP. I'm little confused, how are you supposed to put the weapons into the hands of the predator? It comes with extra hands it was a gripping feature but the fingers don't bend and it clearly tells you to put the spear in one of the hands that has that grip. Any suggestions for a newbie?

If its really tight, use a hair dryer or hot water to soften them first

Once you heat up the plastic/rubber it becomes much more malleable and easier to manipulate.

Thanks for all the help. Wow! I didn't realize how much you have to "work" with these figures. Holding it one way to do something makes part of the clothing over there come off. And taking off this makes that fall off. They're a lot of fuss aren't they?

These figures are made of hundreds of parts and pieces. Everyone needs adjustment from time to time.

Its called futzing.
