Colonel Parker died 20 yrs ago

Presleys career really was in trouble 1965-68 , he should've been more selective re : movie scripts.

Also he was ripped off in '73 , should've gotten more for his pre-1973 record deal.

Both in the 60s & 70s he didn't think long term , quick cash in hand , let Parker handle the biz/line up films , the films were money makers at least until 1965.....

-should've toured the world already in 1960.
-prolly should've done A star is born even though he might've been skeptic about it
-should've done Egypt (Parker turned down 10 mill !)

Unfortunately , in the 70s there would be no comeback special to save him and just like the 60s he ran the formula into the ground

I didn't realise he died 20 years ago. Jeez, 2017 is turning out worse than 2016

Not really.....by 1975 he could fly off the handle for minor issues and by then the drugs had him in a firm grip.

There were signs already in '73 , multiple drug oveerdoses and a girl who took drugs with Elvis nearly died had it not been for Sonny West.

Beatles , Stones , Bowie and many others all did drugs....the problem was Elvis got seriously hooked

An entirely unpredictable consequence.
