With great honor, ACI Toys International has been authorized by Mr. Suwahara Hiroyuki, legendary Japanese illustrator of renown KOEI's games Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, to produce a series of 1/6 scale collectible action figures from the Sengoku Period. Kicking off the series, we are pleased to bring you the mighty conqueror, warlord and general ~ Oda Nobunaga.

To bring Mr. Hiroyuki's illustration to life while staying truthful to history as much as possible, the ACI Team has invested a great deal in the research and development of the series, from armor design to weaponry, from head-sculpt to tailoring, no details has been left unchecked, for instance, Oda's sword is actually based on the "Heshikirihasebe", which is currently on display at the ***uoka City Museum in Japan.

For hardcore Samurai fans and gamers, the DELUXE version comes with 3 special bonus parts that symbolized Oda's heroic legacy :
1) Matchlock gun -- as the leader of tanegashima infantry team
2) Haori (Samurai surcoat) -- the noble image as a daimyō who ruled most of the Japan from their vast, hereditary land holdings
3) "Tenka Fubu" Battle flag with stand -- meaning ""to rule all under heaven by force of arms/military might", the iconic war banner of Oda Nobunaga.

I think the head is at the right size, may be some of us are used to smaller heads from Modern Military figures like Soldier Stories', my guess is the styling of the hair on the sides that make it appears bigger...

Too tempting, must resist, not open new line, must resist, really really resist.

I'm still not sure..
They should've picked a direction
either this

Or this

Not the current mix.
I'm also curious now about actual height of the figure (with that head size)

Combination of comic design with realistic approach seems works great for 1/6 figure IMO

By the way, why did you start 2 of the same thread?
There is another one in 'history' section started by same person..

it looks like it's fully based off the art to me... I don't see any real-world influence.

looks great, going to be my first ACI.

The figure have asian real life body proportion. Kinda short posture which japanese person should have been

The artsyle have perfect body proportion and face

HEY!! You trying to say us Asians are short?! I'll have you know, at 5'8", I'm considered a giant in my homeland!! Lol

LOL! I think he forgot to say 'Back in the days'...
By the way, I made a quick photoshop pic to show you guys my point.
Left is head re-sized to 'Suwahara Hiroyuki's illustration proportion (Slightly smaller than ACI).
Right is head re-sized to real samurai photo (slightly bigger head than ACI)
The problem is that - if they go with left, the figure will become quite tall for 16th century Japanese (back in the days...)
I still prefer the left - just for illustration's visual and looks cooler, too!
What do you think? ( do you guys even see the differences ..LOL...)
