Whoa wait, there's two versions of the specialist Deathtrooper and one regular now!? :lol

I think this means there's going to be a lot of these guys on markdown a year + from now. Now I have to decide do I get the deluxe now or just wait for a sale.

Exactly.....following TFA release strategy. Look how cheaply some of those characters can be had now....

If there's any figure that needs to be offered as a 2-pack, it's this one. Make it the regular specialist and the deluxe with pauldron, Stormie doll and dio stand. Too bad the range finder isn't a magnetic attachment that would allow for both looks. Then I suppose we'd lost the light up function, so scratch that idea.

Edit: just caught it that the specialist has the big loadout and the stripped down trooper is just "regular"

I was really, really, really, like really trying to keep OT with my HT figures but this one could just mess that plan up.
I think it's one of the best designs from Star Wars since 1983.

So the regular comes with the extra blaster rifle but not the deluxe. I guess that is how they get you to buy both.

Continuing to be disappointed by these Rogue One announcements. I'd like to see some figures that aren't wearing helmets.

Now we can just wait on the Shoretrooper commander and the other sergeant version too. How many Jedha patrol figures were there ?

Three's a charm !!!

How many people you think will be surprised three versions will exists after they order the first one then complain when the next one comes out...then the next.....:lol

Think I may just get the Specialist from SS tomorrow, preorder the regular Death Trooper and then pick up a loose Stormie doll off eBay. That way I'll have both rifle styles as well as helmets with and without the rangefinder.

I'm just itching for a new figure and don't feel like waiting months for the deluxe.
