Who has a history with this brand, and what can we expect about this Voltron? Any pics from SDCC or actual product pics that are non-promo shots?

Who is planning to get? Want a quality Voltron made of die cast... any and all info, post it here.

This is part of Bandai's, Soul of Chogokin line. That line is widely considered the highest quality, diecast versions of anime robots and vehicles. Only thing about them is that the majority of them are not very big... 7 to 10 inches tall. Although high quality, sometimes they feel expensive for what you get. Which do you think will be better, the soul of chogokin voltron or the toynami voltron ultimate ex. I am considering preordering one or the other as my daughter loved the new voltron netflix series. The toynami version is $100 more then the bandai version.

SOC is a nice version. Icarus is also coming out with a licensed version that looks like a great alternative (good quality, different proportions).
