We've seen a lot of good Lurtz collectibles in the past, but I think this is the first one that captures not only his likeness but also the intimidating ferociousness he had on screen.

That snarl. Those muscles.

The SS Premium Format version looks cuddly compared to this.

Did the set require a 15% deposit by they way? I don't see a deposit with the other new SDCC statues, just Lurtz and Boro.

I'm afraid that will not be possible since number 1-9 apparently is set aside by Weta. The order page says " The statues in this edition are numbered #10 - #110."
