So I scooped this guy up for a steal at $150 and gave him a chrome repaint. So this is what he looks like stock.....

Looks really nice. Much better than stock. What type of paint did you use for the chrome?
 
Just straight chrome or do you apply a base? Also did you take it apart or just repaint it whole? Looks great!
 
I applied the Aclad Black Gloss as a base then light over spray of Alclad Chrome. I didn't disassemble, really wasn't a need to , I just moved the parts did a light coat moved on to other areas, then came back once dry and moved joint to other position to coat ensuring everything is painted.
