Well, this is a couple of years late to the party, but still could be interesting to use as kitbashing parts etc.

The "special edition" roughed-up/dirty version is the way to go, IMO. I like the boots especially.

This is the clean standard version.

I do think the gloves could do with a bit of work, but they must be a **** to make.

so it's 2 different sets? i'd prefer the dirty version minus the scars & wounds.

is that a german rifle?

Yeah, Wardaddy uses an STG.

Definitely getting htis as soon as it goes up, I love DID. One of the most consistent companies in the game, IMO.

Yeah there is often little price difference in the special vs clean version with Dragon figs. That price point is really good imo. At least Dragon hasn't gone bonkers in price like HT have.

Agreed. I think that price is superb when you see all the parts can be more than that.

The clean version is nice for those who want to dirty it up themselves, but if the production figs look like that dirty version, there's no need.

I ordered the dirty version, too cool to pass on.....I've never bought a DID figure before; how are they in production compared to proto? How's the bodies and head sculpts/paint in person? Thanks guys...(**spoiler maybe?***) .great movie though I think it needed a little more character development to really hit you emotionally at the end.

DiD are usually pretty solid figures with plenty of accessories and they tend to do quite well on accuracy with clothes etc.

Off the top of my head, I've got MLK, Chicago Gangster 2, Agent Jack, General Frank, Chicago John, Winston Churchill and French Pierre. All are great. Especially considering their prices.

Picking one - French Pierre - is probably the weakest of the bunch, however, it's still a solid attempt at Aldo Raine (not as good as HT), but he came with loads of accessories and a bicycle. I got it sub $150.

So, this figure is gonna be pretty darn good IMO.

I got a few WW2 figs, Mostly Dragon, Sorry about the focus on some of the pics below, I think my camera lens is screwed?

I think the new Dragon figs are just as good as any HT fig quality wise. I guess they don't have to pay any licence fee to make their unofficial figs but they are still great value for money.
I also love the fact that the box covers double as a backdrop, probably get one with a picture of a Sherman with this fig.
