He stands at just a little over 7 inches. And yes, he does come off the base. There are pegs on the base and a hole in each shoe.

Got this in from Creations Unearthed recently. After getting sick of waiting for any kind of official Lep I decided to bite the bullet and have one made. (You can just thank me when NECA or Mezco announces an offical Leprechaun figure now.

Thanks! He definitely helps to fill a void in my horror collection. I just don't get why there's no official Lep merchandise. I really wish that Sota toys set would have been released or the figure that Warwick Davis was going to sell on his site back in 2006.

I had asked the guy who runs Neca's twitter and he said basically that Leprechaun wasn't popular enough to warrant a release. To niche of a product I believe was his term. So I like many am still waiting too.
Given how many Leprechaun movies there are (as bad as they are after pt 2 IMO) you would think that wasn't the case.
