Anyone use the Walmart "Better Home" cube shelving?

I know a few on facebook do, anybody else here? I'm looking to order a few but unsure on the color. I have wood walls with a red carpet (bright red, lol).

I like espresso but it will hide the details in the statues, they'll blend in. Birch or weathered don't seem too bad.

It seems very similar in size to the Expedit shelves from IKEA. I use those to display a good portion of my collection and store my graphic novels. If you're worried about a darker color hiding details I'd suggest attaching some puck lights to the top underside of each cube.

I ordered one of their 4 cube organizers to elevate my detolfs off the ground. It holds 3, and gives storage space underneath.

I did something similar. I didn't use BHG but something called Foremost. Keep some books and stuff on the shelves on the bottom and the Detolf on top.

I'm curious if anyone has put these under a few Detolfs for several months and noticed any bit of sag to the shelf. That's really the only thing preventing me from using these to prop mine up.
