I exclusively collected figures until the end of 2014, where I became dissatisfied with the declining quality for increasing prices. I'm very particular about statues because I like creating scenes and am not interested in a static display room (although the collections I've seen here are incredible!) Everything here is just to give my studio and reading spaces some personality. Forgive the low resolution photos as well as the clutter (I'm still moving things around.) Without further ado, here's Vader . . .

Very cool!!:clap

Thanks! I've got plenty more but there just hasn't been much daylight to take (relatively) decent photos. I just got Blitzway's Marilyn Monroe last night so I'm looking for a spot to put her as well.

Taking a break from the figures to show off the Marilyn that arrived the other day. If this ends up her permanent display spot, I may invest in an Alien piece to compliment her and the Star Wars diorama in a 20th Century Fox film setup.

I put a few odd pieces on the shelf with Marilyn to fill the blank space I set for one more 1:4 statue to flank the Star Wars diorama (the two I'm deciding between won't be out until the year's end, so that would've been a long time to tolerate the emptiness.) I also updated the close-up shot in the above post with a much clearer one. Hellooooooooooooo, nurse!

The Spirit and Swamp Thing are formative comics for me, so their presence helps remind me that my studio is a work area first even if they clutter the display somewhat.

Despite the glaring T-crotch articulation, I think the Four Horsemen's sculpt on the latter really is statue quality and I love how much the face looks like Alan Moore although the design is decidedly Wrightson-inspired. Zatanna also compliments Marilyn well as a dead ringer for Jane Russell in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. I have to repair her pinky finger though.

Quite a variate collection. :clap I like the Marilyn statue, very cool!!

Thanks! Yeah, Marilyn is the statue I owe most to everyone here on the forums, as I jumped on right before it sold out. I doubt I would have otherwise been aware of it in time.

Perhaps my favorite wall in the house. Comparatively little effort went into arranging it as the amount it took to score all these under retail price, especially the Dodson Wonder Woman. That one is easily the grail in my figure collection.

Guess I had better upload these now before DCC's Toy Fair announcements shame my Kenner collection (at least I have the manor.)
