I can finally tell you what I've been working on. It is no coincidence that you have seen a lot of New hope figures pass by. I am currently working on a very large Death Star diorama. All the designs are now done, here are the first pictures of the aluminum wall parts.

It will feature all kinds of light up effects and maybe even some sound effects I am thinking about.

To be continued.

Well, they are very large. 100 cm x 50 cm and thus very expensive.

I don't know....some of the lines look a bit off. Looks more like Tom Cruise than a Death Star hallway to me. I'll wait for version 2.0

:monkey3

Here are the drawings for some of the parts. Never mind the colors. And I really hope I don't ever need to do a 2.0 version :D

Hmm, I wonder if maybe selling the templates would be a better idea. Then each of us could source someone to do the actual work. Just spit-ballin', Jazz!

Here is the inspiration. I just needed something much bigger than this to fit seven or eight figures. Also, I wanted to be able to add my own electronics for permanent light up features and cathode light sabers

I was brainstorming something like this. . . doing it in etched metal. Cool to see you pulling it off.

The only depressing thing is I was looking forward to seeing the mass market one another company is working on in 1:6. Unfortunately it will pale in comparison next to this.

Here are the figures I have for the diorama so far. To be continued. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1452678231.062585.jpg

I thought about Invinctus Sol's idea. The drawings and designs are available for sale for $9.99. You'll get them in autocad, pdf and eps format. You can follow my build for instructions, should you need them

Sometimes experiments fail. To get rid of the cutting marks, we blasted the plates, and the effect is really good, but the plates started curving. Now we will try again with 4 mm thick aluminum
