Doubtful but who knows.

The publicity stink that could occur about Marvel throwing a fit over a tribute of American Hero wouldn't be worth it IMO. That could really turn on them fast. Just better to write it off as free publicity

My brother doesn't collect many figures anymore, but after American Sniper came out, he told me to look out for Chris Kyle figure for him. I knew it had to happen sooner or later. He'll be more pleased to have a real Kyle rather than Cooper anyway.

They already allowed it to happen for the film. It's a bit late to put on the brakes now.

What a wonderful way to honor this man. He is one of todays greatest heroes in my eyes. Hopefully this will be available in Europe too.

I just saw the released pictures over on OSW, and I think they did an outstanding job on this figure. It says they are releasing two versions - a regular version - and a deluxe version. This is an easy must purchase for me.

Yes, Blackopstoys mentioned on OSW that they were shooting for under $200 for both the deluxe and regular versions. I would expect the Deluxe to come in at right around $200 and the regular at $30-40 less. Just my speculation, though.

I'm going for the regular. Mainly because of the cost, but looking at what comes with each, I like the simple look of the regular. Very excited to for this guy.

I had to order the Deluxe. Had to have the helmet and MK18. Knowing that a portion of the proceeds go to a worthwhile cause softens the blow of the extra cost.

So the regular doesn't come with anything the deluxe version doesn't, correct? If you go with the deluxe, you get all of the same stuff that comes with the regular plus a bunch more? I'm clueless when it comes to all of this gear, but I'm getting this for my brother who is the gun-nut of the family and a big Chris Kyle fan so I want to make sure he's not missing out on anything.

Correct. The Deluxe comes with everything the regular does, plus the stuff in the list a few posts above.
