Anybody know where I can find pics/video of the King Arts diecast MkXLIII figure, fitting inside the diecast Hulkbuster?

I don't think its a full figure and not one you can remove. It's just a bust. Done like hot toys. The way HB is constructed you couldn't actually put a figure in it and have to work. Every time the legs moved it would snap the 43 legs off.

Don't think they have released that yet, they've only teased it by showing someone opening the Hulkbuster up. Looks pretty roomy in there.

Found this video. I can imagine their MkXLIII fitting inside. Looks kinda hollow in there. Magnets. Nice.

Yea they have just the teaser. I just watched it to. U see how they got around the anatomy...they mad the hulkbuster undersized. Way undersized. So that the 43 legs would position correctly as to not snap the legs. The full preview should be revealed Friday. It's a neat feature I guess but they had to drop detail and accuracy to get it to work I like hot toys better. Even the PI one looks better.

I want to display Hulkbuster with helmet off. Kinda like this.

Hot Toys has that, plus it's in the scale I like, but I really want a diecast Hulkbuster. I think Budget Stark mentioned it maybe having a $400 price tag in one of his videos (maybe it was a guess). If true, I might be able to get it, & the Hot Toys one. If it's closer to Hot Toys pricing, then I might have to think about it some more.

If it's 400 that's actually a pretty good deal for what you get. But at that price I can't imagine it will also have the mark 43 with it. So add another 200 for that. 1/9 is a strange scale for me. Dragon has some model kits that size so you could get hulk and others too.

My biggest issue with this figure is the scale between it and the other armors is way off. If that 43 in the vid is the same scale. Hulk buster should be nearly twice the height of a mark 43 and about twice as wide. And that one is not, from what I can see.

It's a pretty cool idea, and one no one else is doing so kudos for that. And King arts usually follows through on proto to production unlike PI so good chance this gets made. Interested to see the price

I want a HB in my collection but I'm not sure which one to go with. Scale isn't a concern since it won't be displayed with my HT Avengers lineup. I really like the HT version but space is starting to be a concern and I actually wouldn't mind a high quality smaller version. I really like the Bandai version and the fact that it's die-cast but it doesn't seem too easy to get a hold of here in the US. After seeing that BBTS was charging almost $500 for it I might as well go for the HT one. The Kotobukiya version looks ok, but I would rather have the option of posing it.

I was thinking about getting the Bandai one. But it seems to be barely diecast from what I've been told. Plus the price. Crazy.

Motuxmen. Could it be that in the Hulkbuster demo video, with the MkXLIII being on a stand, & slightly in front of the Hulkbuster, that it looks off scale to you? In this pic, imagine he's off his stand, & standing next to Hulkbuster. I think the scale is pretty good.

Also, the MkXLIII looks to be around $135US, if the stand is anything to go by.

The angle plays a part. But I tried to consider that. It's as much about the hulkbuster size as anything. There's a photo that shows the 43 how it looks in the HB and that shows what I mean. The 43 is like tiny compared. Even looking at the hot toys you can tell. Let me see if I am find that pic..

Edit-here's a copy...shows how large the HB is, and why I think the KA version is undersized. But you have to do that, or really oversize it, to do the suit in a suit thing.

It's a cool feature to be able to put Mark 43 inside however with what I have seen in the video I'm a bit worried about the Mark 43's paint getting scratched as you take in and take out often given the space they give to let u put in the figure.

You could be right. That's why it's difficult to pass on the Hot Toys figure. They seem to have got that part right.

I guess we'd have to see how it actually looks when/if KA decide to show off the feature a bit more in detail, to see how good/bad it looks.

I didn't think about paint scratches.

It's not even that I want to put a whole MkXLIII figure in the Hulkbuster (although I'm not against it completely). I simply want to display it showing the MkXLIII helmet underneath. I would have been okay if they went the Hot Toys route. If the MkXLIII figure was actually placed in there like Tony Stark was actually controlling the Hulkbuster (similar to the pic Motuxmen posted), then yeah, would be really cool. But it seems like a hollow space to simply stand the MkXLIII in :lol

I think if all you want is the "revealed" Mark 43 then I don't think the KA is the one to go with. From what they have already shown that features is way better executed on the hot toys version.

The scrapes and dings and such are something i wouldn't risk on a figure going in and out. And I really see no upside to it. Other then a cool thing to show friends once. But that wow factor is better achieved, for me, on the hottoys massive nearly 2 foot tall version.

The KA hulkbuster is more like what iron man should look like to be more realistic though. Not with another suit on in it, but that size to be the main suit. More believable that an actual person could be in it, with the extra features, and have even a remote chance to survive the sudden start/stop g force stuff. So in that respect it's nearly perfect. Lol and KA makes good products.

If it's the one you like then go for it. Who cares what anyone else thinks. It's your coin. I was just pointing out my thoughts about it. And it's a nice armor. Just not on par with the HT version, imo.

Diecast is one of the main draws for me. Also, because of it's size, I feel like I can have it sitting on my desk, so I can fiddle around with it now & then.

My Hot Toys figures I usually choose a pose, then leave them like that for months.

I guess I kinda want something to "play" with as well :lol
