So I'm getting ready for Spring and Summer, time to spruce up the yard and get the BBQ going, its been a long miserable Winter and the weather here on Long Island has finally broke:yess:

So I'm spending the day with the Wife and Dog in the yard planting, still lots to do but I thought I would share:)

Also would be interested to see what you folks got going on in your yards, so show your stuff:wave

Loving the weather, but digging holes is no fun:rip

Have fun buddy & it's looking great so far :)

Thanks Keith:)

This is mainly my wife's project, I just get to help:lol

Still a lot more work to go, set the brick boarder up along the back wall of the fence, next up is planting them and then munch:panic:

potted tomato seeds, green & yellow pepper seeds, squash seed(no pop-up yet), sweet corn seeds, bitter melon seeds(no pop-up yet), and basil seeds. 2-3 weeks and outside should be ready for some of them. gonna have to do some garden work soon and some house maintenance as well

I've never planted a veggie garden myself, however I have had good luck with the topsy turvey Tomato plant thing, got nice results!!

Mr. Green is not to be confused with Mr. Green-thumb

whut? they're growing nicely. be nice if Mr. Green started the seedling a month earlier but oh well. they'll grow.

Love working outside. I've been spending an hour at night after work working on the house and yard. We have a craftsman bungalow looking house and I've added cedar shakes to the gable above our garage and around our entry way. Will be painting the rest of the house this summer along with the water system.

You lovers of working outside can always come to my house. I've got plenty for you to do. I HATE it! :lol

Well I'm off today and the weather couldn't be nicer so I decided to snap a few photos of the plants we planted to show there progress, everything seems to have taken root and is blooming nicely:)

Home grown raspberry. Second year so they didn't bear much fruit but so good. Up next is the blackberry. So much from this second year plant but he'll see if they're just as good.
Plum tomato already turned red. Bitter melon will be big enough to eat in 2 weeks.
