Just announced this morning! As a LEGO fanatic, I'm pumped! Hope I started this thread in the right place.

My wife will probably want this. She's played all the Lego video games. Can I fit my Helicarrier on the pad?

Not surprised there isn't any Marvel characters, sure Disney wouldn't allow it.

If they can find a way to make it compatible with other LEGO sets, that could be ridiculously impressive. Like you said, how cool would it be to have the LEGO Helicarrier or The Tumbler in there?

So is this the same concept as Disney Infinity? You have to buy all the characters separately that you want to play in the game?

Just watched a shorter trailer. Was pretty excited, that excitement left when I came on here to see if anyone was talking about it. Just give me a game, not where you got to buy lame ass stuff to be able to keep playing.

I think it's more of a WB DC thing. That's why Lego Marvel and Avengers has taken a large chunk of cooperation to get em going.

All kidding aside, this may be one of the greatest things I've ever seen:

Yeah that rocks and there is a rumor going around that the ghostbusters will be in it due to the dude in the trailer holding a PKE meter in some "extended" trailer.

I just hate having to buy all the figures for this. Such a BS money grab. My kids love Disney Infinity 2.0, but what a crock to pay $10 everytime they want to play as a new character. Kudos to the person who came up with that scheme.

Portal and Dr. Who also revealed as licenses to appear in the game!

I am kind of curious if Marvel and Star Wars will come around, at some point. Naturally not right now, as they're going to be trying to sell their Infinity stuff, especially with Star Wars just ramping up, but they're still going ahead with the LEGO Avengers game, so, it'll be interesting to see if maybe, in a year or two, if this catches on, they jump in.
