There's a thread for Myers, a thread for Leatherface, a thread for Jason, for Freddy...pretty much every horror slasher villain. But what I want to see is some REJECTS! Anything and everything House of 1000 Corpses orThe Devil's Rejects. The fanbase is really underground but I know there's more out there just like me who cant get enough of characters like Captain Spaulding. Share your customs, your purchases...sixth scale, lifesize, shoot even NECA will do. Lets see 'em!

I think to start I gotta tease my custom Spaulding figure. Its just about finished up and its been a long time coming and a lot of patience. The head was courtesy of the super-talented gents at RIP Workshop. Everything else was either handmade from scratch or random customized oddities.

My NECA horror collection features several Rejects as well.

I've also had the pleasure of meeting these dudes. Sid Haig and Bill Moseley are some of the nicest guys Ive ever met.

I agree that that these films were not for everyone. I enjoyed Rejects more than House. I've been a fan of RZ for a long time and look forward to what his new movie 31 will be about.

I don't have any figures, but would love to see what other freaks have in their collections.

those are really amazing pictures.

I think I might be the only person in the world that loves House much more than Devil Rejects. I dont even own the second one, but I watch the first one a lot. i saw it in theaters like 7 times

i did love the craziness of the first one more, i love the dark humor, love the crazy cuts.

like for example i do not accept that the ending to the first one was just a dream or whatever they said. for me all the ending happened for real.

I don't know what movie you're watching but the ending isn't as complicated as you make it out to be.

Spoiler Spoiler:

do we need spoilers? :lol

everyone says she never meets dr satan or ever goes down there. everyone (Including Zombie himself) say that after she gets lowered into the underground everything else is a dream...
some people even say dr satan never existed to begin with.

That's weird. P' sure it's not a dream or else Devils rejects wouldn't exist. The only reason wydell goes nuts is because of his brothers death!

according to fans and zombie himself, when they put the girl down in the coffin then everything else after that doesn't exist. The movie pretty much ends the moment they lower the girl down in that coffin

Her walking in that underground tunnel and meeting Dr Satan and meeting that guy with the gas mask and the ax is all in her head or something, she died in the coffin and never went into those tunnels

that's what bothers me about the fans, people wouldn't and couldn't accept that Dr satan was really down there (Or that the Ax man was real) so everyone started to say all of that was a hallucination and then Rob Zombie in some interview said that yeah, none of that is meant to be real .

I never knew that. I'm going to have to find those articles or interviews online. I also need to rewatch it. I agree that House and Rejects are two very different movies. It is hard to actually compare them.

No one really gets why I love Devil's rejects so much. I myself don't even truly know for sure, but its a top 10 movie of all time on my list. Building a 1/6th Spaulding has been on my 'to-do' list a long time.

For now I have just this shelf.

Great setup. I have that poster signed by Moseley and its hung at the head of our dining room table. Get it....last supper? :lol
Anyway, I get a lot of crap for loving these movies. But to me, they're so weird and unique, they're not like anything else. And RZ is an awesome guy. Say what you want about his movies but one thing you cant argue is that he's dedicated to everything he does. He puts everything he has into a project and doesnt give up on his vision.

Yeah, I get that. A lot of people have the same opinion. House of 1000 Corpses is weird as **** and honestly doesnt make much sense. But I think its weirdness is part of the charm and why I like it. I hated it the first time I watched it...but after a couple years I found myself wanting to rewatch it.

Something that I think is interesting...a lot of people give crap to the actors like Moseley and Haig for their acting. But the weird thing is if you ever get the chance to meet them in person you really realize how different they are in real life. Haig for example is this big eccentric and loud character as Spaulding, but in real life he is so quiet and calm mannered. You realize how good of actors they actually are.

I couldn't agree more. He is a true fan of the genre. I appreciate him doing things on film that others are afraid to do or show.

Moseley and Haig are incredible actors.

Nice Otis. Although his hair seems too neat. Make it messy! o.o
