Since I couldn't find a thread dedicated to music and culture of Hip Hop music I couldn't understand why.

I fixed that :)

Top 10 of all time? Ok let's go...

1. Kanye west (I'll get raped for this I know)
2. 2pac
3. Eminem
4. Drake (another one I'll get raped for)
5. Lil Wayne
6. ll cool J (I'll argue this np)
7. Biggy
8. Ace Hood (he's newish but a lyrical beast)
9. Jay Z
10. 50 cent (considering how he changed the hip hop game when he was introduced).

This list is compiled with people that I believe truly changed the game in one way or another.

J cole's music puts me in such a Melo mood, I love it.

For some reason I think I'm the only one who doesn't love Kendrick.

I'm 36 and I have been a hip hop head for about 31 of those years lol. My older brother put me on early. I remember when there were no hip hop stations so you had to sit through Cindy Lauper, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Ocean hoping that they might play a rap song lol

How do you not have Nas in there? I'd argue maybe the rankings on Kanye and Drake, but wheezy needs to off the top ten. One word lollipop

I'm 33 and it's been a part of my life since I was a child.

I remember sitting allllll day/night by the radio waiting for a certain song to come on so I can jump up with excitement and hit the "record" button on my tape player lol

Wow how times have changed...

One of the greatest days of my life was when my dad gave me a CD player for my bday and with the player he gave me these two CD's lol

**** I forgot Nas smh

These kinds of lists are hard to come up with quickly lol

Lil Wayne is a lyrical beast and I truly believe he deserves to be in a top 10 list.
