Just wondering if anyone found a good source for short faux fur? I'm thinking to make a Conan figure, though not sure where to get the right grey fur.

Yeah stuffed animals, if you don't mind chopping them up

Good idea! 
will need to be a fairly good quality fur. I did see a jacket with the perfect short fur in a charity shop for £8, though don't think i could bear chopping it up for a small piece :-\
