I'm a big Tsume fan so i though they deserved their own thread for news and updates.

Home : news, new products, available figures and statues - Shop

For those that don't know Tsume are a company based in Luxembourg specializing mainly in Polystone and PVC Anime statues. They also have a Street Fighter line and have produced an Asuras Wrath statue.

They do very high quality statues with the mass produced version matching the prototype perfectly, they also have very high standards of paints and packaging.

So glad Tsume haven't forgot about Bleach! It's not Ichigo but Renji was my second pick!

Got my Asura's Wrath today!

Bigger than expected, definitely more 1/6 than 1/8.

Putting him together was nerve racking as Asura has to hold the Doji's arm, so you have to slot the doji arm through Asuras hand while pushing Asuras arm into his body, a little force was needed and stuff did bend a little but it was fine once in :D

Big heavy base, tons of details, usual Tsume quality. I don't think anyone's gonna be disappointed. Just totally wowed by him!

I'm not really interested in any of there stuff other then OP and I have Zoro and Usopp POed with the hopes/assumption that they'll do the entire post-skip crew ><

Good going, in addition to Usopp, Itachi HQS, never revealed in public, we disclose Renji, and also 3 new HQS, 1 XTRA, and an unpainted HQF...

So we'll see Renji and 3 more new HQS! 1 of them must be from Saint Seiya.....the other 2? Maybe 1 One Piece and 1 from Fist of the North Star?

We'll see this weekend!

Yea I've been checking their facebook :) I hope one of them is a OP! I saw someone post a while back that they weren't doing more OP stuff but I really hope he was just making stuff up. Never saw tsume say anything about and nothing else since >< Excited about Zoro :) Got it on order from BBTS.

Virgo no Shaka 1:6 HQS - Tsume-Art

This is a very ambitious statue and one very well designed and executed. The prime focus is obviously the spirits, it's one of the best executions I've seen of translucent look but the body is amazing as well, it looks metallic, weighs a ton. The face and hair are very well done as well and the hand beads look lovely.
The statue comes with 2 heads (eyes open and closed) by I always pictured Shaka with his eyes closed so I didn't try the other head. Also to change heads you have to remove the spirits which I would rather not have to do so I wouldn't call this a switch-head-on-a-whim type of statue.
The thing that Tsume excels at is packaging. The shipper has designs, the box looks like a Myth Cloth (and it's so freaking huge it's like it's life sized!), there are layers of hard foam between the shipper and the actual box, the styrofoam is wrapped in a nice black bow and let me tell you that unwrapping the spirits with all the protection it had was stressful! The one detriment to this regarding the spirits is that it's impossible to repack so I pray I never move or sell it!
Sadly the outstanding packaging couldn't prevent a trip from overseas and 3 UPS attempts (I was also hit with my first custom fee :/)from damaging the statue and one of the bead lines that wrap around the base is broken. It should, however, be an easy fix.
All in all a very impressive statue and I can't wait for the next Saint Seiya they make.

Awesome stuff Drakul! Really sorry about the damage thought, although like you said, god knows what happaned to it because Tsume statues have fantastic packaging!

I'm really tempted to start the Saint Seiya line and pick up Saga and Shaka ( original Ikki release has gone the way of Gaara and Kenpachi now ) but it's just having the cash to do so!

I'd suggest you grab them before it's too late (I'm not even sure if Saga is still available) cause I also missed out on Ikki and I'm praying for a re-release.
 
Also the Next One Piece HQS will be White Beard.

Can't say i'm super happy with that decision, would have preferred them to at least concentrate on the main crew first.

I'm sure it'll look great but i don't really want to spend £350 on him.

No pics have been taken yet.
