Square Enix has announced a new episodic game series called Life is Strange; an adventure game with an time-twisting mechanic from Remember Me devs Dontnod.

Episode 1 is 2.0 gig - really pumped for this one

Ok, played for about an hour; got tired so will finish today. Inital impressions:

Like a super well done Tell Tale game. All story, but has decent game mechanics. My only complaint: camera way too close to the character - needs an FOV adjustment. Look at everything. The time travel element is pretty cool. I really dig this sweet character surrounded by a darkness.....has an edge to it that's had to quantify

Played the demo, bought the game and the season pass.
I really enjoy these types of games now.
Much like telltale, I love games that's heavy story oriented, with big emphasis on characters, and with great music to compliment it.

Some have complained that the voice actors are 'meh' but I have had zero issue with any of it. Sure, some lines seem a little dated, but no biggie

Finished episode 1...love it!!!!
Like playing a good indie movie.
Kinda reminds me also of Donnie Darko.

If all the episodes are gonna be this good, I feel like this is gonna be a classic.

Episode 2 will release on the 24th of March

cool - debating if I should play each episode now, or just wait for all to release first...hate waiting...!!!
