1/6 Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XLII- elljay-hobby Photo Review

Hope you guys don't mind if I post elljay's photo review of the Mark 42 Diecast figure. He just had them posted up and with it being a total of 45 pictures, I didn't want to clutter the Mark 42 figure talk thread with it all.

Thought it warrant it's own thread and of course, all credit goes to elljay.

An amazing set of pictures and by far my favorite on this figure.

Thanks for posting them here, Holo! I love Elljay and Jingobell's works.

Say, are the airflaps' undersides of the previous armors not detailed like Mark 42's?

Anyway, I'm so excited for this. It's the first IM figure I PO'd. I thought this would be great, and would most probably have none of the paint fading issue. And as a sucker for BD figures, I love the BD parts this figure comes with.

Good idea and great set of pics

It looks like elljay has a spot light a little too close to the front of the figure though.

Dang, I don't usually go for using headsculpts with armor but it looks awesome with the Mechanic head

You can get a mechanic head for $33 on eBay. Ships from Hong Kong though so might take a bit

IMO this is the best IM suit released thus far.. So excited to get this figure! Great pics

Wow these pics are stunning. The fist to the ground crouch is just epic. Despite these arm issues this is looking like one of HT's finest. May need a Mechanic head to go with him.

I agree - if I ever were to get him that head is a must for me - I really like the way it looks on this figure.

Didn't know there was a little forearm rocket thing. Nice touch
