Saban’s Power Rangers

News broke today that Lionsgate will be doing a film reboot of Power Rangers. This came up out of nowhere.

Haven't followed the show since the mid 90's though, so I'm out of the loop if fans saw this coming.

For once, I think Bay would have been a great choice.

the movie needs to have colorful characters, It needs to have a lot of over the top action scenes, lots of cgi, robot monsters.....

who am I describing? But I really wish Bay took this, and not produce it but actually direct it.

David S Goyer will be writing the script and Christopher Nolan is set to direct.
