Im in the process of putting a costume together for a custom and im using some newline black leather jump boots, these infact...

the problem is, when im putting them on the figure, and trying lace them up, i keep getting black colouring rubbing off on my fingers, so its hard to not touch the figures clothing as if i do ill get black finger prints on the fabric, is there away around this black rubbing off the boots when im putting them on the figure???
