I know there have been threads like this before, but I figure another on wouldn't hurt!
Here's mine:

Claude Rains as The Phantom of the Opera
Colin Clive as Baron Henry Frankenstein
Bela Lugosi as Dr. Mirakle
Rondo Hatton as The Creeper
Revenge of the Creature
Gloria Holden as Dracula’s Daughter
Boris Karloff as Hjalmar Poelzig
Bela Lugosi as Richard Vollin
Ernest Thesiger as Dr. Pretorious
Bela Lugosi as Ygor
Lon Chaney as Kharis
Charles Laughton as Dr. Moreau
Bela Lugosi as the Sayer of the Law
Basil Rathbone as Wolf von Frankenstein
Karloff as Edmond Bateman (scarred version)
Maleva

It would be sweet if Sideshow would make a limited set of $80-$90 two-pack gift sets for characters that needed it. For example:
Richard Vollin and Edmond Bateman from THE RAVEN,
Dr. Moreau and the Sayer of the Law from ISLAND OF LOST SOULS,
Dr. Mirakle and Erik the Gorilla from MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE,
Henry Frankenstein and Dr. Pretorius from BRIDE OF FRNKENSTEIN,
Wolf and Ygor from SON OF FRANKENSTEIN,
and Maleva and a newly resculpted, bulkier Wolfman from THE WOLF MAN.

The rest could be released as individuals. How would you classic horror fans feel about that? Too bad poor sales have pretty muched killed the 12" Monsters line.... :monkey2

The big one for me would be Ygor.

And I believe it was mentioned in chat during Spooktacular that the 12" line is not dead!

Dr. Frankenstein
Dr. Pretorius
Maleva

These are my top three.
But would buy all the ones on your your list also.

I hope the line isn't dead... my top figure would be Colin Clive as Dr. Franenstein and of course Ygor.

How about....

Lionel Atwill as Inspector Krogh
John Carradine as Count Dracula
Lon Chaney Jr. as Dan McCormick (Man Made Monster)
Una O'Connor as Minnie/Jenny Hall
Peter Lorre as Doctor Gogol
Carol Borland as Luna Mora
Lon Chaney Jr. as Count Alucard
Boris Karloff as Mord
Warner Oland as Dr. Yogami
Evelyn Ankers as Gwen Conliffe or any of a half dozen other roles

Lon Chaney Jr. as Dan McCormick (Man Made Monster)

Carol Borland as Luna Mora
Lon Chaney Jr. as Count Alucard
Boris Karloff as Mord
Warner Oland as Dr. Yogami

Great list!

Mord would be great to see in a two pack, with Basil Rathbone as Richard III.

In addition to the Universal Monsters line, it would be great to see a line dedicated to Warner Bros./TCM classic horrors:
Lionel Atwill as the deformed Ivan Igor from MYSTERY OF THE WAX MUSEUM
The Moon Killer from DOCTOR X
Boris Karloff as Dr. Fu Manchu
Charles Laughton as Quasimodo
and of course
Peter Lorre as Dr. Gogol
Bela Lugosi as Count Mora, and Carol Borland as Luna from MARK OF THE VAMPIRE.

I can't remember exactly what was said (chat was crazy!), but I think Heath said we should have a new announcement next year. Was there anyone else who was in chat who can remember?

I'd like to see a new Bela Lugosi Dracula. The quality of Sideshow's figures has just gone up so much since he was initially relased!

I mean, just look at the differences in Matt Falls' three Lugosi sculpts! Drac looks a little weak when you put him next to the stunning Murder Legendre or Bela the Gypsy.

And the costumes have gotten so much better, too. The new one could come wtih some armadillos.

I own the SSE Dracula and I think it looks great, however the color version's paint job apparently really sucks, so I see where you are coming from. However, if Sideshow were to release another Drac, they should base him either in his London eveningwear (Top hat, no medallion,) or his appearance in A&C MEET FRANKENSTEIN (older Lugosi, slightly different outfit) just to give the figures a difference.

While I think their original Dracula is fine, I have put off buying their Wolf Man because he is too skinny, and the face is too thin. Sideshow could definitely improve that figure by rescuplting a rounder, more accurate face, and putting it on a much bulkier padded body. They could also base it on his appearance in HOUSE OF DRACULA, or A&C MEET FRANKENSTEIN, so it wouldn't piss off the collectors who own the original.

Besides the Creature from the Black Lagoon. I'd want Young Frankenstein.. with I-Gor. Gene Wilder is the man!!!!!!!:chew

GREAT LIST! I would buy most of those. Great stuff.

IT'S ALIIIIIIVE!!!! An Exhaustive List of Horror figures I'd like in 1/6 scale

Remember...YOU AXED FOR IT.

I will also include other Monsters who are not necessarily Universal, but are classics none the less. Hey, I can dream can't I? Who would've ever thought I would get a 12" Dr. Phibes or 1:1 Zuni Warrior?

UNIVERSAL MONSTERS

Dr. Frankenstein. Colin Clive. This has got to happen.
Dr. Van Helsing. Edward Van Sloane
Dr. Pretorius
Morgan, the Insane Butler from "Old Dark House" . Karloff
Dr. Wilfrid Glendon. Henry Hull
Dr. Yogami from "Werewolf of London"
Mord from "Tower of London". Karloff
Dr. Mirakle with deranged ape. "Murder in the Rue Morgue". Lugosi
Dracula's Bride. Generic sculpt. Any of the three from Lugosi's Dracula will do.
Vitus Werdegast and Hjalamar Poelzig 2 pack. Lugosi and Karloff from "The Black Cat".
Ygor from "Son of Frankenstein"
Wolfe Frankenstein. Basil Rathbone. "Son of Frankenstein".
Inspector Krogh. Lionel Atwill. "Son of Frankenstein"
Janos Rukh. Karloff. "Invisible Ray". Trencoat and Fedora. Glow in the Dark head and hands.
Kharis, The Mummy. Lon Chaney Jr. preferably scarred from "The Mummy's Tomb."
Man Made Monster, Dynamo Dan. Lon Chaney Glow in the dark head and hands.
Maleva, the old Gypsy woman from "The Wolfman"
Sir John Talbot. Claude Rains.
Phantom of the Opera..Claude Rains version. Suprised this hasn't happened.
John Carradine version of Dracula
Dracula's Daughter
Son Of Dracula. Lon Chaney Jr.
The Mad Ghoul. Great Monster.
Monster on the Campus. Great Monster.
Mr. Hyde. Karloff version. Interchangeable head and hands. (From A&C Meet Mr. Hyde)
Rondo Hatton as the Creeper.
Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce as Holmes and Watson.
"Island of the Lost Souls". Lugosi as "Sayer of the Law" and Laughton as Dr. Moreau.

Wolfman. Lon Chaney. This figure desperately needs redux. The one we have now has no padding, thus making him too skinny. His joints are loose and there are different renditions of the Wolfman make up through out the series. He needs redone. Pretty please???

:blissy :blissy :blissy :blissysmi

Jeez-us... now that's a list!

I wonder if Product Enterprises will ever release more Hammer figures? The Lee was pretty good and it seems to have sold well and retained value... why no others, or at least one figure of Peter Cushing?!?

I have no idea why Sideshow has not released a Gort! I think with how they nailed the Metaluna Mutant, Gort would be equally as awesome.

And one final thought, as I said earlier.... please Sideshow: Make Dr. Frankenstein!!!

The big one for me would be Ygor.

Poor YGOR holds the unenviable distinction of being the only 8" Sideshow figure not to be remade in sixth-scale!!...
