I Didn't see a thread on this saw this today in person. I couldn't believe it was only $40.00 includes 80 games and your old games would work on here . I was in bed bath and beyond and saw this .:panic:

Awesome idea. It's interesting that you posted this as I just went to a local used game store the other week, and was blown away to see a working Sega machine. I'm going back this week when I get paid to pick it up...Sega Genesis Model 1, Sega CD Model 1, and Sega 32X for $100.

~~I also thought about pre-ordering this guy to hook up in the living room.

Plays: NES, SNES, Genesis, Mega Drive, Famicom, Super Famicom, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance. The best part is that it hooks up via HDMI so no worrying about how to hook up with S-Video or Component.

That Retron looks interesting for convenience in plugging to the TV but I still want my original Mega Drive with Mega CD and 32X :)

I would buy this if it had a sega cd.

I also hate you for being able to get all three of those for $100.

I'd definitely pick this up if I still had my old games, which I don't. If it played ROMs, I'd grab it.

That thing looks neat (the Retron5). What controllers work for it? And would it look terrible on a big HDTV? 58" Samsung

That's pretty cool, but I'll just stick with emulators and roms for the oldies, which I do play now and again.

It comes with 1 bluetooth controller, but does have controller ports for all the systems. And from what I read in the cheapassgamer thread it has a built in emulator that can filter the image to look like these games would on an old fashioned CRT monitor.

My wife bought the sega and I'm completely addicted. Every time I plug it in my daughter says "Altered Beast again?!"
